    This is a great vehicle. I did lots of research before buying. I am very happy. The only thing I would change is take out the panel at the left of the shifter, to the right of the drivers knee. It serves no purpose other than to reduce the amount of leg room the driver has. Other that that, its the perfect vehicle.

    I actually bought this vehicle as a birthday present for my mother. She had a 2003 Hyundai Elantra, also a great car for $$, and it was time to buy something newer for her. Even the base SE has tons of options and is very comfortable. I am not sure getting an ECO or other models with the turbo option is needed. The 2.0L has enough power to manage easily in town and on the highway. If I wasn't a Toyota guy I might think of trading my 4Runner in to downsize, but I won't be doing that anytime soon. Great warranty, what can one say.
  • Great Style / Horrible Transmission Issues (New)

    This is a great looking and feeling car. I purchased it new under lease in 2016 and from the very start, there were major transmission issues. At around 3000 miles the vehicle began to stall at stop lights and rough shifting in normal slow speed conditions. I returned to the dealership where they installed a USB software update for the transmission as a recall. Now since the software update, the stalling condition has went away, but this vehicle still has a VERY rough shift at slow speeds. When traveling at idle, the car vibrates very noticeably as the transmission fights the automatic clutch. It is almost the same severe jerking motion as driving with someone new to a manual car. There are thousands of claims about this online and Hyundai is currently under lawsuit over its transmission issues with this car. I love the style of this car and really want to keep it after my lease is up in a few months, but Hyundai has told me there is nothing they can do to fix this issue. Because of that I am turning it back in. Great Look, Nice style, HORRIBLE transmission issues with no fix.
